It's been a fantastic few weeks with the boys. I decided to invest in a half-decent Digital SLR camera (Nikon D40), and it's paid back already in terms of quality captures of the 3 musketeers. First, Sam's 10th birthday on January 14th. 10 years old! How did that happen?
Sam's doing well with guitar lessons, so to add to his acoustic guitar I've let him long-term borrow my electric axe and amp. You can almost hear his Mum saying 'yeah thanks Paul!'. Hee hee...
Daniel has developed quite a passion for art and photography, and here's a nice photo he took about 2 weeks ago at the base of Cabot Tower in Bristol. His first set of photos in fact. (c Paul Amery 2009)
More recently I took both Sam and Daniel to Pen-Y-Fan, South Wales highest point, and training ground for the S.A.S. Both of them finished, both in probably the worst weather I've seen in the Brecons. Impressive stuff for a 7.5 and 10 year old...
